Chalet XS is a warm but modern designed sustainable tiny house chalet for the ultimate lovers of fresh powder snow. With just over 25m2, the chalet surprisingly houses all the necessities you need for a perfect winter sports holiday. The size of the house is only 3.6m by 6m and it is divided into two floors. On the ground floor there is a small bathroom and an open space for dining, chilling and enjoying the spectacular view. The top floor has a lovely sleeping loft, where you can also enjoy this wonderful view from the bed.

To enable the flexible use of the space, all the interior elements have been carefully designed and serve multipul purposes:

The stairs doubles as storage.
The chilling platform that is also a bench to sit on while eating. When flipped it turns into an extra bed.
The upper bed and headboard hide some additional storage.

This tiny house chalet can be placed anywhere. We engineered the latest sustainable technology into the tiny house design to make it possible to use it off the grid. On the roof there are PV (Photo-voltaic) solar panels and SWH (Solar Water Heating) panels. The walls, floors and roof are fitted with high end insulation and the windows are fitted with triple glazing (HR+++) for the best thermal insulation. A floor heating and open chimney provide the warmth needed with these cold outside temperatures. Together with smart sensors the chalet XS is very energy efficient. To make this possible, a technical module with space for containers, connectors, technical equipment, batteries etc has been placed under the stairs and is accessible from the outside. The size of this module depends on the exact location and the way one wishes to use the cottage.
